Finding the best dentist clinic in Turkey can quickly become a confusing task.
Clinic A may have thousands of reviews on Google. Clinic B promises low prices. Clinic C may specialise in dental implants, veneers or full-mouth treatment.
Most websites will also tell you that they have experienced dentists, use advanced technologies and provide high-quality dental care.
None of those things tell you which clinic is best for your teeth.
For UK patients looking abroad for dentistry, choosing where to get dental treatment in Turkey should involve more than stars on websites, photographs or the first price you are quoted.
How can you know which clinic is best without knowing who will treat you, what they recommend, how the clinic is regulated, what materials will be used or what happens once you are back home?
In this guide we will compare dental clinics in Turkey and outline what we believe patients should know before booking dental treatment or choosing dental care in Turkey.
Table of Contents
What Does “Best Dentist Clinic in Turkey” Mean?
Ask ten different people and you will likely get ten different answers. There is no official body that declares one dental clinic the best in Turkey.
And the best dentist clinic for you may not be the best option for someone else.
Choosing implants? You have different needs to someone considering veneers. Undergoing a full-mouth restoration or full-mouth rehabilitation? You may require several clinicians working on your case.
Instead of trying to answer:
“What is the best dentist in Turkey?”
Ask yourself:
“How can I find a clinic best suited to the dental treatment I need?”
By comparing the dentist, diagnosis, treatment plan, materials used, pricing structure and reviews from real patients you can work out which clinic is best for you.
We recommend reading about the main dental treatment options in Turkey before comparing clinics.
How To Compare Dental Clinics in Turkey
Tips from our patients guide.
We don’t rank clinics using a single score or star system. Use several checks to find the right clinic.
| What to compare | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Clinic | Name and address it is registered under |
| Dentist | Name, qualifications and experience performing the treatment you need |
| Diagnosis | Dental examination and any imaging required |
| Treatment plan | Clear explanation and why treatment is recommended |
| Materials | Exact implant brands or laboratory materials named |
| Price | Itemised quotation in writing |
| Reviews | Independent reviews and real patient experiences |
| Before & after | Pictures of similar cases before treatment began |
| Aftercare | Arrangements for when you are home |
| Guarantee | Written details. Contact details if something goes wrong |
| Communication | How you will contact the clinic after hours or from home |
You should be able to find answers to questions in each of these categories from the strongest clinic for your case.
A clinic may offer a comprehensive range of dental services. That still doesn’t mean every service it offers is relevant to your teeth.
Check The Dentist Before You Decide on a Clinic
Your chosen clinic could have a great website but still tell you very little about who will actually work on your teeth.
Before you travel ask to speak with (or at least get the name of) the dentist who will provide your treatment.
Once you have the dentist’s name, you can check their qualifications and experience. This is particularly important for treatment involving oral surgery, implantology or complex restorative dentistry.
If multiple dentists will be involved in your case ask who does what. For example:
Who will place the implants?
Who prepares your teeth?
The Dental Technician / Manufacturer
Who designs the restorations?
Who verifies your bite before you leave Turkey?
Yes, a coordinator can help translate and schedule appointments and transfers. However, a bilingual consultant shouldn’t be in place of your dentist when you have questions regarding your diagnosis and treatment options.
Do Your Research: Check The Dental Clinic Isn’t Just Marketing Before Buying Treatment Abroad
If you speak to clinic staff ask for the registered name and address of the clinic or dental centre where you will receive treatment. Don’t be surprised if this is different to the company you speak to first.
Some patients contact a marketing company or travel coordinator. Others will deal with someone based outside Turkey. Neither company actually provide any clinical treatment.
While they may arrange your trip, treatment is still provided by a dental facility in Turkey under a dentist licensed in Turkey.
When buying dental treatment abroad UK government guidance asks patients to check the provider of healthcare and understand the rules that apply where you will receive treatment.
Turkey has regulation for clinics treating international patients. When researching clinics ask where you can verify their Turkish health tourism authorisation.
We would also check the Turkish Dental Association or relevant local dental chamber for the dentist’s registration. A certificate posted on a website can be useful but make sure you know what the dentist is certified in.
A clinic licence does not guarantee anything about the dentist themselves. And a dentist’s individual qualifications should be checked in person if possible.
Does the Dentist Really Recommend The Treatment? DIY Diagnosis
You should be wary of clinics providing a quotation for a large treatment plan based on photos alone.
Photos are great for an initial discussion. They can help the dentist understand your concerns and what you don’t like about your smile.
But they cannot replace an in-person dental exam.
You may need a panoramic X-ray. Clinical photographs. Periodontal assessment. Or 3D imaging to plan your treatment.
Your oral health should be assessed before the final plan is agreed.
Pre-implant surgery may also require closer examination of your jawbone and supporting structures.
Don’t accept the final treatment plan until the dentist has performed an examination and has enough information to review your case.
Remember: that plan may differ from the initial quotation provided over email or on the phone.
It’s not always a bad sign if prices change. What matters is that your dentist can explain why and provides you with the new price before starting treatment.
Best Dentist for Implants in Turkey
Clinics that specialise in cosmetic veneers may not be best suited to implant dentistry.
If you have missing teeth and are considering implant treatment, ask who performs the implant procedure and how many implants they have placed in past.
You should also know which implant system will be recommended. Brands such as Straumann or Nobel Biocare are commonly mentioned by clinics but knowing the brand doesn’t tell you much.
Instead ask for the exact implant or component recommended for your case.
Does the price include: implant, abutment, temporary teeth if required, final restoration, imaging, surgery, bone grafting or sinus lifting if required, follow up appointments etc?
Ask these questions if you are researching All-on-4 dental implants or All-on-6 treatment as well.
Read our guide to dental implants in Turkey to learn about the treatment itself. This article will help you learn how to choose the clinic that performs it.
Best Dentist for Veneers in Turkey
Do your veneers come from the best dentist for dental implants in Turkey? No. Cosmetic dentistry covers many treatment options.
Just like you should check what treatment your dentist actually recommends. Someone searching for the best dentist for dental veneers may learn that veneers are not their only option.
Alternatives can include composite bonding, orthodontics, teeth whitening or even crowns.
If veneers are recommended you should ask:
- Which teeth will be treated and why?
- Are veneers suitable for these teeth? Why?
- Will the natural teeth be prepared?
- What material will be used to make the veneers?
- Are they porcelain veneers, laminate veneers, Emax veneers or another material?
- Who will make the veneers?
- Can you see similar cases with the same material?
- What if I am unhappy with how they fit?
Treatment itself can be compared in our veneers in Turkey guide.
Cosmetic Dentistry in Turkey covers a wider variety of aesthetic improvements you may consider.
If you are considering smile makeovers or a Hollywood smile, ask whether smile design forms part of your treatment planning.
The point is that your clinic shouldn’t automatically recommend the exact same treatment to everyone who wants a “better smile”.

Best Dentist for Crowns or Dental Bridges in Turkey
Searching for Turkey teeth will often bring up dental packages quoting a set number of crowns.
Just because your smile needs 12 crowns does not mean every tooth needs one.
Ask your dentist why each tooth requires a crown. You should also know whether the restoration is made of zirconia crowns, porcelain crowns, porcelain fused to metal or another material.
For dental bridges ask which teeth or implants will support the bridge. (Are you getting dental implants as well?)
Learn more about dental crowns in Turkey and zirconium crowns.
When restoring full arches you may have implants, dental bridges, crowns, veneers or dentures all as part of the same treatment plan.
Some full-mouth rehabilitation cases may also involve periodontics or other dental services.
If so, ask for the treatment planned for each tooth. Rather than accepting a generic “full mouth” treatment package.

Best Dentist in Turkey Reviews: What Should You Look For?
Reading reviews can help you choose the right dentist in Turkey.
But a clinic with a 4.9 out of 5 score is still made up of individual reviews.
Read the comments left by patients.
Look for reviews that detail:
- What treatment the patient received.
- If the final price matched the initial quotation.
- How the dentist explained the treatment.
- Whether they knew who their dentist was on arrival.
- How concerns were addressed.
- What happened after returning home.
One line reviews such as “amazing clinic, amazing hotel” tell you little about your potential dental experience.
Longer reviews can give better insights especially when they detail your entire journey as a patient.
Also read some negative reviews. One or two bad reviews doesn’t mean you should avoid a clinic. Patients leave complaints for any number of reasons.
If multiple patients mention surprise charges, feeling rushed or inability to get help after returning home you should look closer.
Websites such as Trustpilot show comments from international patients and allows you to see how the clinic responds to criticism.
Google Reviews will provide local reviews instead. But many clinics have little to no reviews on Google. Don’t be put off if you don’t find your clinic on Google. (That’s not a recommendation of us. That is what we see with dental clinic reviews.)
Social media gives you a different type of evidence. A clinic with Instagram, YouTube or TikTok account has provided real patient videos, testimonial videos, treatment explained and case results.
Seeing real patients allows you to know the clinic has treated patients, rather than showing anonymous photographs.
What can you look for in their social media channels?
- Does it include real patients?
- Are there videos as well as pictures?
- Does it show different types of treatment?
- Does the clinic has lots of history? Recent dates?
- Do patients explain their experience?
- Are the dentists name-tagged or can you identify the clinical team?
- Do they explain what was done or are you just shown the final smile?
If you visit Bella Clinic’s social media channels you’ll find patient testimonials, real treatment cases and before-after results uploaded by past international patients.
(Before you ask, yes these can be used alongside independent reviews when researching)

Before and After Photos: Real Cases From The Dentist’s Smile Gallery
A dental clinic should be happy to show you before and after photos of their work.
These can tell you about the dentist’s technique and if they have regularly performed treatment you are considering.
But before and after photos do not tell the whole story.
Two smiles that look similar to you may have very different dental conditions.
Patient A may need veneers. Patient B crowns. Patient C might receive implants.
When looking at before and after photos ask:
“What treatment did this patient receive?”
Can you compare your teeth and clinical needs to this case?
Using Dental Laboratories
Does the clinic use an in-house laboratory or a separate dentist lab?
Who designs the crown/s will vary.
Both are perfectly fine as long as there is good communication between the parties involved and the patient.
Ask the dentist what happens if you are unsatisfied with the shade or morphology of the restoration.
Ask questions and make sure YOU understand your treatment plan. Double-check that the material they quote you is the same material you will receive.
If they claim to use “high end” ceramic material or specific implant brands, ask to see it in writing on your quotation.
Who Does the Work and How Much Does It Cost?
Compare Prices / What’s Included / Expectations
Lets assume:
Clinic A is cheap.
Clinic B costs double of what Clinic A does.
Does that make Clinic B automatically the “Best dentist clinic in Turkey”?
Not necessarily. Clinic B may have services that Clinic A doesn’t account for in their pricing.
Ask for an itemised quotation. An itemised quotation will provide you with a detailed breakdown on what’s included in their price and what may be extra.
A proper price comparison should also make the treatment costs easier to understand.
Treatment costs can include:
- Dentist examination
- Imaging
- Cleaning teeth
- Preparing teeth
- Treatment planning
- Restoring teeth
- Includes implant components and crowns / veneers
- Includes temporary teeth if applicable
- Laboratory fees
- Tooth Extractions
- RCT (root canal treatment)
- Bone grafting
- Prescribed medication
- Anaesthetic
- Follow up appointments
Compare prices with our Bella Teeth price estimator once you have an idea on what may be included.
Shop for flight prices separately.
Dental tourism in Turkey will show you how to research and compare total costs.
Bottom line. That cheap looking package could cost you more if you have to make a second trip or require additional treatment.
Do Dental Packages Include Treatment or Marketing?
Inclusive packages can make organising your trip easier.
Packages often include hotel rooms, airport pickup, transfers to/from your clinic and even provide you with a patient coordinator.
Some clinic offers also include VIP transfers or other travel services.
These services can be useful and save you time when planning your trip.
But they do not make the dentistry itself any better.
Remember to keep the dental plan and travel arrangements separate.
Just because your clinic offers a luxury hotel stay does not mean you need a crown.
And just because your clinic arranges VIP transfers does not mean your implant was planned correctly.
Look at who is providing the dental treatment first.
Then research flights, accommodation and services.
Istanbul Turkey or Antalya – Which Is Better for Dental Treatment?
For many patients dental tourism in Istanbul and dental tourism in Antalya are used interchangeably.
Both cities see a lot of dental tourism and are major parts of Turkey’s dental tourism industry. But the “better city” for your treatment depends on which clinic you choose to trust.
Remember: your dentist should decide where you have treatment, not the other way around.
Istanbul has the highest number of dental clinics treating international patients. This gives you more options when comparing dentists.
Antalya, Turkey is also well known for dental tourism. Many patients choose Antalya because they wish to visit the beach during their trip.
Which Dental Clinic in Istanbul Is Considered the Best?
There isn’t one official answer. The clinic should still be compared by the dentist, treatment you need, credentials, reviews and aftercare rather than the city alone.
Don’t decide on Istanbul vs Antalya until you have researched and compared actual dentists.
We plan on creating separate guides for clinic selection in Istanbul and Antalya. Since both cities receive unique search traffic and have specific clinics operating in their area.
Your Dentist Should Explain What Happens After Turkey
Contact details for aftercare is something many patients don’t ask about before they leave Turkey.
This is especially important for UK patients. You should know:
- Who can you contact after your treatment?
- Will they review new photos or video call you if something is unclear?
- What sort of pain or symptoms should you ignore?
- What symptoms should be checked immediately?
- Are follow up appointments included?
- What if you need an adjustment?
- Who pays for you to return to Turkey?
- Will they work with your UK dentist?
The answers to these questions should be clear before you start your treatment.
You should also understand what the long-term aftercare plan looks like once you return home.
When going abroad for dental treatment The General Dental Council recommends speaking with your UK dentist about the treatment plan. As well as discussing what you would do if something goes wrong after returning home.
Examining the Guarantees Dentists Offer
Ten years sounds like a long time. But how do you know if the clinic will still be in business?
Or what the guarantee actually covers.
Read the information provided to you carefully.
Ask questions if something isn’t explained clearly.
Does the 10-year guarantee cover:
- Repair? Replacement?
- Implant failure? Ceramic damage?
- Laboratory mistakes? Accidental damage?
- Damage caused by gum disease? Damage caused by teeth grinding?
- Or does it cover nothing that can go wrong?
Also ask who covers the cost of your flight if you need to return to Turkey for repairs.
Clinics should provide you with a written guarantee. But it is only useful if you understand the limits.
A long-term guarantee and long-term dental care are not necessarily the same thing.
Worst Case Scenario: Red Flags When Choosing A Dentist in Turkey
Watch out if:
- They won’t tell you the name of the dentist that will treat you.
- The dentist makes up a big treatment plan without examining you.
- The dentist won’t tell you why treatment is necessary.
- The price keeps changing, you don’t understand why.
- They won’t tell you the brand of implant or restorative material they plan to use.
- They pressure you to pay a deposit or payment in full right away.
- Reviews are only about hotel and transportation.
- They won’t give you written aftercare information.
- They won’t explain to you what will happen if your treatment plan changes once you arrive.
- The clinic makes you believe there is no risk whatsoever in getting dental treatment done.
- You get an email saying your surgery will be 50% OFF if you pay now!
If you notice any of these red flags, it doesn’t mean that the clinic will harm you. But you should definitely ask more questions and take everything they tell you with a grain of salt before sending them any money.
Questions To Ask Yourself When Choosing a Dentist in Turkey
Ask questions until you feel you have answers to the following.
Otherwise, you shouldn’t be expected to pay a deposit.
- Who is my dentist? What are their qualifications?
- Why is this treatment being recommended? What alternative treatments can I consider?
- What examination or scans are needed?
- Which teeth will be treated? How? With what materials?
- What materials or implant brands are recommended?
- Are the restorations made in-house or by a dental laboratory?
- What exactly am I paying for?
- Could any additional costs be added to my price?
- How many trips will I need to make?
- What will I have when I leave Turkey after each visit?
- Is aftercare included or do I pay for contact after returning home?
- What if I experience problems after returning to the UK?
- Can they contact my dentist if needed?
- What does the guarantee actually cover?
The aim is to understand the personalised treatment being proposed to you, not simply the package advertised on the website.
Can You Trust Bella Teeth or Bella Clinic?
Bella Teeth provides dentistry under the Bella Clinic brand. Bella Clinic has worked with international patients since 2008.
The dental services Bella Clinic provide include online consultation, bilingual coordination, airport transfer services, accommodation help and contact after you leave Turkey.
If you wish to see treatment cases, patient testimonials or real before and after results we have those on our social media channels.
Patients can review these before choosing where to get dental treatment. But we recommend doing your homework as described above.
Ask questions.
Learn about your treatment.
Make sure you know which dentist is treating you.
Get your quotation in writing.
And keep your dental records after treatment.
Finally. Your dental clinic should not expect you to pick them because they say they are best. By law every dental clinic should provide you with the information you need to make an educated decision.
Instead use that information to decide which clinic is best for you.
What Is the Most Reputable Dental Clinic in Turkey?
There is no official ranking that gives one clinic this title for every patient.
Searches for the best Turkish dental clinic, best dentists in Turkey or top dentist in Turkey can produce different lists.
Look at the clinic, treating dentist, treatment experience, reviews, written quotation and aftercare together.
What Is the Best Dental Clinic in Turkey According to Reviews?
Right now we cant provide a simple answer to that question.
Every patient has unique needs when buying dentistry overseas. Which means the clinics with the most reviews are not always best suited to your dental treatment.
Use review sites to create a shortlist of dental clinics.
Then learn about:
- Dentist experience
- Treatment recommendations
- Clinic Credentials
- Materials they use
- Price estimates
- Aftercare process
- Real patient cases
Doing your research this way will provide you with more useful information than picking a clinic based on star ratings alone.
Which Dentist in Turkey Is Best?
Again, we can’t provide a simple answer to that question.
The best dentist for veneers may not be the dentist you want treating you for implants.
Rather than looking for the single best dentist. Look for a dentist with the right experience to treat your specific condition.
How Do I Find a Good Dentist in Turkey?
Start with the dentist rather than the travel package.
Check who will treat you, their qualifications and experience with the treatment you need.
Then compare the treatment plan, quotation, patient experiences and aftercare.
Where Is the Best Place to Get Dental Work Done in Turkey?
When researching dental treatment in Turkey two cities are by far the most searched for.
Istanbul.
And Antalya.
Dental clinics can be found throughout Turkey. So these are not your only options.
But we suggest you pick the clinic and dentist you trust first.
Where you get dental treatment is secondary.
Should I Trust a “Top 10 Dentist in Turkey” or “Top Dental Clinics in Turkey” List?
Top 10 lists are a good starting point. But they should not be accepted as fact without doing your own research.
Who made the list? How were those clinics selected to be on the list?
Claims made by commercial websites, booking companies or clinics themselves should always be independently verified.
Is It Better to Go With the Best Rated Dentist in Turkey?
No. Going with the highest reviewed dentist is not always best.
Star ratings are helpful, but you should review that information with the dentist themselves.
The dentist with the highest reviews for veneers may not be the best dentist to perform complex implant surgery on you.
Compare the type of treatment your researching against the reviews left by patients.
Ready to Book? Final Checklist Before You Choose A Dental Clinic In Turkey
Ask yourself if you can answer these questions about your chosen clinic.
You should know:
Who is treating me?
Why do I need this treatment?
What exactly am I paying for?
What happens after I return home?
What if something does not go according to plan?
If you can answer these questions, your dental clinic comparison just got a lot easier.
Finding the best dentist clinic in Turkey is not about who advertises the loudest or offers you the lowest price.
It’s about finding who you can research, understand and talk to about your dental treatment before they see you in person.
